I have tested this and checked the code :

• No changes have been made to the code since February 2021 so it is very unlikely that this is a 'new' problem.

All of this can be explained by the fact that this is displayed in the validation :

De juiste reportage zit er niet tussen
Beschrijf eventueel zelf een reportage

Note the word eventueel.

This means that there are NO required fields, not in the data-entry and therefore not in the validation. It means that when this button is selected there will be no failed checks for the photo. A single radiobutton is always selected because that is the whole purpose of a radiobutton.

To solve this we need to change the radio button into a checkbox that we can turn off by default. This cannot be done for a single radio button. This will have an impact on the project and it will take testing to make sure all data is still stored correctly. We may also have to add/change checks in the back-end.

As the customer has been working with this project for a year now, I suggest that any changes are approved by Mark first. Until that happens the validator has be be mindful of this 'problem'.

Jullie geven een technisch antwoord. Ik ben, denk ik, niet duidelijk genoeg geweest.

Als beide invoerders dezelfde beschrijving invullen, is er geen probleem. Het komt echter zelden voor dat de beschrijvingen van de invoerders overeenkomen. Als controleur moet ik dan een keuze maken welke beschrijving ik overneem. Of ik moet 'm zelf maken. Als ik dat p.o. niet doe, dan staat er dus 'niks' oftewel 'De juiste reportage zit er niet tussen' zonder beschrijving. Als ik dan afrond, gaat de foto zonder beschrijving de beeldbank in (vermoed ik). Dat is onwenselijk.
Kortom, in de controlefase zou er altijd iets moeten staan, al was het maar 1 woord. De programmatuur kan dat makkelijk controleren.
